Students gain an understanding of how to assess the value of neuroscience as a tool in the workplace. They learn assessment of the business intelligence of an organization. They are able to evaluate psychological assessments for organizational development. They can create behaviorally-based measures of economic performance. Students learn to apply psychological principles in product marketing. They learn how to differentiate job applicants using common behavioral science methods. In order to successfully complete the program, students must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0. Some courses are available online but 24 of the 36 credits must be completed in residency.

Franklin University was founded in 1902 in Columbus, Ohio. It began as the YMCA School of Commerce, initially to provide adult men with bookkeeping training. By 1913, the school was offering two-year degrees in accounting. In 1921, it was authorized to offer four-year degrees. In 1933, the school was named Franklin University, not because it was located in Franklin County, Ohio, as many believe, but for one of the country’s Founding Fathers, Benjamin Franklin.

Franklin University was founded in 1902 as the YMCA School of Commerce. Classes were held at the Columbus YMCA which sponsored the school. In 1964, the university amicably separated from the YMCA. Just five years later, Franklin University moved into its first building, Frasch Hall, which was located on Grant Avenue in Columbus.

In 1993, the first graduate program, an MBA, was offered at Franklin. The first online class was offered in 1998.

In 2006, the school was named a “Best Buy” by GetEducated.com. In 2008, it earned its first Top Military-Friendly College & Universities honor. The school began offering programs in Macedonia, Poland, and Slovakia in 2009. Franklin University Application Requirements

To apply for the Master of Science in Business Psychology, applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree or higher from a regionally accredited college or university. They must have a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 2.75 or must provide official GRE or GMAT scores. A current resume and references are also required. The applicant’s work history, references and some personal characteristics may be considered if they do not have a qualifying GPA or graduate test score.

Tuition for the Master of Science in Business Psychology is $670 per credit hour.
